“DHA Valley Islamabad” The controversial project which is a joint venture between Bahria Town and DHA, has failed to deliver the project on time and it keeps on delays due to several issues like litigation, land acquiring, Dadhocha Dam and slow speed of development work.
Rearrangements
In 2015, Bahria Town attempted to adjust some file owners from DHA Valley to Bahria Town Phase 8 in Rawalpindi and Bahria Town Karachi. According to sources, the response to this offer wasn’t very encouraging. However, some people did apply for relocation only to end up not hearing anything back from Bahria Town.
Some also believe that a few blocks of DHA Valley might be relocated. I don’t think that should bother anyone as long as the project is actually delivered.
Development Work Updates
The direct access road (120 feet carpeted) to DHA Valley is already constructed few months back. Development work is going on a good pace also they have interconnected oleander, mangolia to bluebell. For now the road between oleander to blue bell is rough track but soon we will be seeing carpeted road.
Development work in blocks like Magnolia, Lilly, Bluebell, Oleander is developed largely. While approx 350 DHA Homes are under construction. According to resources, possession of DHA Homes will be offered in two phases.
What are the expectations?
Due to missing and lack of information DHA valley file owners are quite worried. Bahria Town needs to make a better effort to keep people informed.
According to reliable resources, development work in the area has been going at a good pace.
Re-ballot results
DHA Valley held re balloting ceremony on 8th june 2017. Balloting was done for the owners of DHA Homes (5 & 8 Marla) who have cleared their dues/installments/surcharges.
Possession updates?
While no official date or time-frame was shared for the possession handover of the re-balloted units
